MissionObjective |
PIGVISION seeks and promotes the refinement of artistic aspects in research. The purpose for which PIGVISION is established is:
There are moments in research where the question as to what is truth and what is fiction becomes irrelevant. PIGVISION embraces the idea that research projects can be artistically directed and choreographed. In the directing process, pragmatic considerations strike a balance with the quest for artistic content. Research, beyond the factual and literal, will then begin to reverberate poetic meaning at its most. PIGVISION began as an art concept in 1993. It has been developed by Raymond Rohner, who had studied and worked in the field of animal science in Switzerland before taking up his fine art studies at the Tasmanian School of Art in Hobart/Australia. |
